Brief:
The mission of the LACDA is to support artists, exhibitions, research, public programs that explore new ideas between the intersection of digital art, design, and to promote new forms of creation and expression using digital technologies.
Status:
LACDA is an exhibit space focused art and technology, which is dedicated to the propagation of all forms of digital art, new media, digital video art, net art, digital sculpture, interactive multimedia, and the vast panorama of hybrid forms of art and technology that constitute our moment in culture.
Keywords:
Digital; Conceptual; Experimental; Linear; Interactive; Digital media is used to tell stories, to involve you in a very subtle way and effect you by its poetic episodes.
New Typography System:
A customized typeface for Lacda, based on equally squares grid that feels geometric, seamless, technical.
Color Palette:
RGB screen values represent digital works and the colors really stand out in the dark.
Reposition:
Envision the future of Lacda's gallery experience. Lacda is missing its brand image and brand message.
Following the new strategic vision across the Lacda community, my insights and recommendations are guiding
Lacda of its new strategic objectives, and divide it into three parts—Design Technology, Community and Education.
Los Angele Center of Digital Art, in Downtown Los Angeles, California, was expanding.
The expansion of the gallery is necessary. The sub level will be a projecting and light
installation space including a projection room.
LACDA VR Experience Truck:
Redefine the gallery experience by formulating answers to the questions of
how technology can be used effectively to create new forms of interdisciplinary art,
in addition to connecting artists with audiences.
We aspire to engage the community by connecting the public to leading digital
artistic innovators. Mobilize society to become active participants in the deployment of new technologies.
Coding Workshops:
LACDA provides digital art education and technology to artists, collectors and art enthusiasts. We seek to educate the audience through a digital experience and connect with the artists.
